Privacy Policy

Digital Committee (BC) ("the app") is made by Mohammad Taimoor Hussain. This page explains, plainly, what happens to your information.
Your data stays on your device
Everything you enter (your profile, committees, members, phone numbers, payments, reminders and the ledger) is stored only in your own browser on your own device, using the browser's built-in storage (IndexedDB). The Windows desktop app stores it the same way on your computer.
There is no account and no sign-up. The app has no server that receives your data, and we cannot see, read, copy or recover it.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking pixels or advertising.
- No cookies set by the app.
- No selling or sharing of data, because we never receive it.
Things you choose to do
- Reminders by WhatsApp or SMS: when you tap a reminder button, the app opens WhatsApp or your messaging app with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and that service's own privacy policy then applies.
- Notifications: if you allow notifications, they are created locally on your device.
- Backups and exports: backup, CSV and PDF files are saved where you choose. Keep them safe, because they contain your committee's details.
Offline use and hosting
The web app caches its own files on your device so it works offline. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. These logs never contain your committee data.
Deleting your data
Clear this site's data in your browser settings, or uninstall the app. Because the data exists only on your device, this removes it completely. Export a backup first if you want to keep it.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
